The meaning behind our name

Thridha Varnam

Threefold splendour of colour.

“A woman glowing in beautiful colours reflects divine culture. With Thridha Varnam, she becomes the true ornament of beauty in the world.”

The name Thridha Varnam is woven from two Sanskrit roots — thridha, threefold, and varnam, colour. Three scripts of the South and the North hold the same verse here, the same way our looms hold the colours of Kanjeevaram, Banarasi and Gadwal in a single drape. One name. Three lineages. Every saree we weave is a small offering at that confluence.

Logo Meaning

The mark, decoded

The logo is a refined monogram that merges the initials T and V of Thridha Varnam into a single elegant symbol. The large vertical and horizontal structure forms the T, representing strength, heritage, and the foundation of the brand. The flowing curved form creates the V, symbolizing grace, movement, and the drape of a saree. The contrast between the bold geometric T and the soft organic V reflects the balance between tradition and modern sophistication. The small star accent adds a sense of brilliance, celebration, and premium craftsmanship, suggesting beauty that stands out. The deep maroon color reinforces luxury, cultural richness, and timeless elegance. Overall, the mark communicates a premium saree brand rooted in heritage, femininity, and refined style.

Vision & Mission

At Thridha Varnam, our vision is to become a celebrated saree brand that preserves the richness of Indian heritage while inspiring women to embrace elegance, culture, and confidence. Our mission is to offer premium sarees that blend timeless craftsmanship with modern sophistication, ensuring every drape reflects beauty, authenticity, and tradition. Through exquisite designs, exceptional quality, and a deep respect for cultural artistry, we strive to create meaningful experiences that make every woman feel graceful, empowered, and connected to her roots.

Lineage

The Eight Weaves

Each tradition has its own loom, its own thread count, its own grammar. We work with master families in every one of the regions below.

What we promise

Four rules of the house

What makes it into the catalogue, and what does not.

Craft comes first

From heritage handloom weaves like Kanjeevaram, Banarasi, Mysore Silk, Mangalagiri, Pochampally, Gadwal and Patola to our contemporary Fancy Sarees and Mixed Pattu fusion drapes, every piece is chosen for the authenticity of its craft. Tradition in every color — never a power-loom replica, never a mass-produced imitation.

Honest zari, declared weight

The zari grade and the exact thread weight of every saree are printed on the product page — so you know what you are paying for before it arrives at your door.

Fair pay to the weaver

Weavers are paid by the day, not the piece, and receive an additional royalty for sarees that sell above ₹40,000. The artisan name is recorded on every order.

Repair, not replace

A Thridha Varnam piece can be restored in our Bengaluru atelier — a torn pallu, a loose zari, a refresh of fall and pico — for the lifetime of the saree, at cost.
